This is a film that will tug at the heartstrings. Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) is a talented chef who is fired from his dream job after a disagreement with Riva (Dustin Hoffman), the head honcho and money guy behind the restaurant who unceremoniously tosses Casper out on his keister. Casper is down in the dumps for a bit, but then when the opportunity of running a food truck arises, he seizes the chance to dive back into the culinary world he loves. You gotta love a guy who can reinvent himself after a crushing loss. –p.d. lee
