In his new book, Tracks of my Tears, author Manswell T. Peterson, deals with his life and challenges as a child whose mother was addicted to crack cocaine  during the epidemic of the 1980s. Despite his many challenges, he has grown to great success. Now a noted author, screenwriter and college professor, he spoke with rolling out about how he overcame the odds and how his book is soon to be adapted into a feature film. This is his story:
