Whitney Houston fans may have been thrilled about the news that Angela Bassett and Lifetime are working on a biopic about the music legend, but her family certainly wasn’t happy about the news, especially Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
Shortly after news broke earlier this week about the planned biopic, Bobbi Kristina shared her feelings on the film via her Twitter page and explained that she felt that anyone looking to make a film about her mother should cast her to play Whitney.
Bobbi Kristina went on to say that she respects that people want to honor her mother’s life, but she maintained that filmmakers should honor her mother’s wishes.
And Bobbi Kristina wasn’t the only Houston family member who has voiced objections to the film.
Houston’s sister-in-law and former manager, Pat Houston, also weighed in on the matter with TMZ. Check out what she had to say after the cut. –nicholas robinson
