With her nails painted black and gold, beer and a menthol cigarette in her hand, Miriam Marie “Mae-Mae” Burbank was ready for her viewing. Burbank died June 1, 2014, and her two daughters wanted a funeral that reflected how their mother was full of life.
Charbonnet Funeral Home in New Orleans, Louisiana talked to the family and gave her a “last party” funeral.
