Benzino brags about not snitching on his shooter

Earlier this year, Benzino came close to losing his life when he was shot, at of all places, a funeral. And although Benzino lived to tell the tale and his shooter is facing charges, Benzino recently bragged to the world that he has no intentions on snitching on his nephew.

The incident happened back on May 29, when Benzino was shot by his nephew, Gai Scott, in the shoulder and back while attending his mother’s funeral in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

Scott was subsequently arrested but on Tuesday he pleaded not guilty to charges of armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Scott is being held without bail and will appear in court on June 23.

However, it appears that Benzino has no intentions at all of helping convict Scott. According to The Enterprise, via TheJasmineBrand.com, Benzino recently told his new defense attorney, Rosemary Scapicchio, that he has no idea who shot him.

Benzino also explained to his many Instagram followers in a now deleted post why he will never snitch on anybody.

“I can remember when I was 11 years old my father @scnopps GAVE ME THE RULES AND REGULATIONS (the G code) TO BEING A SOLID STRONG MAN, 37 years later (25 active in the streets) IT STILL STANDS, times have changed and I’m FORTUNATE to have survived and turn my life around to ACCOMPLISH many great things, BUT WHAT I AM MOST PROUD OF IS ???????? I WILL GO TO MY GRAVE AS BEING,” Benzino wrote.

Unfortunately, with that way of thinking, justice is no longer an option, at least not through lawful means. And it certainly might leave Benzino in the grave a lot sooner than he thinks. We hope Benzino leaves his street mentality behind and aopts a new way of thinking, especially since he’s far removed from the streets now.  – nicholas robinson
