Teyana Taylor’s ‘Aaliyah’ biopic audition tapes leaked
Lifetime may be moving forward with Zendaya Coleman as “Aaliyah“ for their upcoming made for TV movie, but that didn’t stop close friend to Teyana Taylor, TyronBee, from releasing her audition tapes.
“I know Teyana is gonna be mad at me for posting her audition clips but I honestly feel no one deserves this role more then her. She embraces Aaliyah dancing, acting and singing. (Which I’ll be posting all 3 parts) but unfortunately @teyanataylor heard that Aaliyah’s family isn’t involved & she no longer wanted to be a part of the film. Here’s part 1, The dancing…” TyronBee captioned the above video, claiming that the only reason Teyana backed out of the film, was due to the Haughton families lack of involvement.
While there has been no statement from Lifetime as to why Coleman was selected over Taylor, we’d have to agree with TyronBee; Taylor hits the nail on the head when it comes to the late R&B singers moves and smooth vocals.
