2. Bobbi Humphrey – “Please Set Me At Ease”
This is one of those tracks that has the ability to lock you into a specific time and space that is so unique it’s hard to describe or rival. Rightfully so, it’s been sampled in hip-hop several times, but I really appreciate the journey and the genius of the original from the ahead-of-her–time flutist, singer and composer.
