Young Money Records has new artist with a familiar name on its star-studded roster. Reginae Carter, eldest daughter of labelhead Lil Wayne, is officially part of her dad’s other family now. Weezy introduced his new artist in the latest episode of “Weezy Wednesdays.”
Wayne also premiered her new single and video “Mind Going Crazy.” Reginae is Wayne’s daughter with reality star Toya Wright.
Reginae is expected to release an album entitled Becoming Reginae, but Wayne didn’t provide an official release date.
“This week is all about my daughter … shout out to all the Reginators out there,” Weezy said. “…I know y’all saw her do her thing at the awards, and she rep’d us, ya dig? I want y’all to know that she’s officially stamped as a Young Money artist … yes, Reginae Carter is a Young Money artist. And not only am I telling you that, I’m actually about to give you the first look at her first video, ‘Mind Goin’ Crazy.'”
And it appears that the younger Carter is already netting endorsement deals.
“This is a collaborative video with the product Hairfinity,” Weezy explained.
