It goes without question that Todd Tucker endured more than his fair share of publicized drama trying to marry “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss, and much of the drama was due to Burruss’ mother, Mama Joyce. But now that the couple has finally tied the knot and their wedding special “Kandi’s Wedding” has wrapped, Tucker has decided to pen an open letter about his nuptials and offer up some advice to other men about marriage.

Tucker decided to post the open letter along with a photo of his and Burruss’ first kiss after the season finale of Kandi’s wedding aired Sunday night. In the post, Tucker talks about the difficulties he faced in trying to wed Burruss and explained to young men that any struggle is worth it when trying to marry the woman you love.

“I just want to thank everyone for supporting Kandi and I. It was a very tough time getting through this wedding. I did this in hopes to show our young men it’s okay to get married, though things will be tough and you will have to put in work. I’ve shared my life with the world. I hope you were entertained but at the end of the day I hope you learned something and was able to take something away from my experience. With that said I thank you all from my heart for the love and support!!!” he wrote.

Well, we’re glad that Tucker and Burruss endured their tough times with Joyce and decided to go forward with getting married because it seems like they truly are happy together. – nicholas robinson
