How do you spend your day-to-day?
I help men, women and corporations get their physical image in line with their vision. While we hate to admit it, we judge people on their appearance within seconds and make decisions on how and if we will interact. This has a huge impact on us personally and on businesses.
Who is the perfect client?
Any person who is looking to get their visual appearance in line with their personality and lifestyle.
What inspired this career choice?
My grandmothers were both very influential on my development of style. They understood the nuances of great fit and choosing garments that really flattered their bodies not just buying what was in trend.
What has been the most challenging obstacle in business?
There is a lot of competition in the marketplace which is great because people really don’t have an excuse for not looking good. There is someone to help at just about every price point. But it also makes it difficult to break through the clutter.
What keeps you motivated?
Knowing that looking great has an effect on people’s self-confidence and seeing that I am able to make a real difference in the lives of people.

What advice do you have for someone younger who seeks to follow in your foot steps?
Taking some classes. Although I went through an entire certification program, many people just hang up their shingle because they have style. But knowing the science behind style helps us to better serve our clients.
What’s next for you?
I just relocated to Washington, D.C., so building my business here is the next milestone.
