Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander, who first burst onto the scene looking for love on “Flavor of Love,” has landed her own reality series on the Oxygen Network. Hoopz, who at one point dated NBA baller Shaquille O’Neal will star in the series tentatively titled, “It Takes a Sister,” a docu-series that will shadow Alexander and her five younger sisters (ages 24-31), along with their 11 children, as they attempt to get settled on Hoopz’s rural ranch in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Unlike her reality counterparts, such as Tiffany “New York” Pollard, who went on to star in “I Love New York,” parts one and two, Alexander won’t be looking for love on her new show. Instead, the new series is turning the camera on Hoopz and her family, giving viewers a true sense of who Nikki Alexander really is.
“Now at Nikki’s ranch in rural Knoxville, Tennessee, these girls are fish-out-of-water as they try to fit in down south. Their relationship will be tested as Nikki, known as the ‘Mama Bear’ of the family, pursues her dream of opening her own boutique, while also helping her sisters accomplish their own goals. Can Nikki do it all being the head of this hectic household, older sister, world’s best aunt and business owner?” read a May press release describing the show.
