3. Mariah Carey – “Meteorite”
Q-Tip produced this one and really stuck his foot in it. My initial reaction when first hearing this one was “wow!” This is such a gem, Tip samples Eddie Kendricks’ “Going Up In Smoke” for this one and that song takes me back to nights on the house music dance floor with the likes of Terry Hunter, Lil Louis, or Mike Dunn on the wheels. I really love where this song takes me.
