Celebrities continue to send their condolences and support to the family of the young unarmed teen, Michael Brown, 17, who was gunned down in Ferguson, Missouri earlier this month.
One celebrity who has gone above and beyond in her efforts to lend a hand is former supermodel and St. Louis native Kimora Lee Simmons. Over-the-weekend, the president and creative director of JustFab reached out to the Brown family, offering to cover the cost of their late son’s funeral.
She tweeted…

All in all, Simmons reminded us about the power of social media and unity when she shared the above image of the protest that went down in Times Square last night, where thousands gathered in support of Brown and Ferguson, Missouri.
