A teacher who gave a student a lap dance in class has avoided jail time. In February, middle school teacher Felicia A. Smith gave a 15-year-old student a lap dance at Stovall Middle School in Spring, Texas.

The lap dance occurred while a classroom full of students watched. Before the class began, Smith placed a seat in front of the room and turned on music.

The students urged the boy to sit in the chair and Smith began dancing. Smith fondled the boy and allowed him to slap her butt. She also got down on her knees and put her head between his legs.

When the dance ended, Smith hugged the boy and told him, “I love you, baby. Happy birthday.”

The dance was caught on video and made its way around the school. School officials and police eventually discovered that the dance took place.

Smith was removed from the school, arrested and charged with a felony. Her bond was set at $30,000. She recently pleaded guilty and was able to avoid jail time. She was sentenced to three years probation.
