Loretta’s lunch
After being told by Bishop Noel that he “needs Ron” involved in the Preach LA. outreach event, Loretta is encouraged to extend an olive branch to Lavette and invite her to lunch meeting with the other ladies to touch base about the event. All the ladies were present, including Dominique’s and Deitrick’s mothers, which led to a bit of a power struggle as Deitrick’s mother took over the meeting at one point. Pastor Wayne’s wife Myesha declared, much to Loretta’s chagrin, that she has a lot on her plate and may not be able to contribute a great deal. But the shocker of the meeting was when Myesha inquired as to the status of Loretta and Lavette’s conflict, which prompted Loretta to offer Lavette an apology for taking out her frustrations with Bishop Ron on her. Lavette then thanked Loretta for her apology and graciously accepted it, but offered no apology of her own, much to everyone’s surprise.
