The 100 Black Men of Atlanta kicked off a preview reception for the Atlanta Football Classic which will be held Oct. 4. Several members of the organization shared highlights of what to expect this year. The teams playing in this year’s game are South Carolina State University and North Carolina A&T University. Baseball legend Henry “Hank” Aaron and Ludacris will help make the 2014 Atlanta Football Classic memorable.
The classic events will begin Oct. 1, with many activities for the whole family. Events include the McDonald’s Battle of the Bands at halftime, pregame concert with 2 Chainz, health fair sponsored by Abbott & Abbvie, the Fan Experience, which will be inside the Georgia Dome, College Fair sponsored by Allstate, Parade of Excellence presented by KIA Motors, and a Robotics Showcase sponsored by Georgia Power and U.S. Army. There will also be several day parties and post parties at the Compound.
The 100 Black Men of Atlanta have been working with Amy Wright, VP Strategy and Client Services of LIQUID SOUL and her staff to bring more opportunities and activities to the Atlanta Football Classic.
