Sheree asks Torrei to help her find her father, who she lost contact with more than 15 years ago. The duo traveled to Madison, Georgia, where Sheree meet with her cousin Cornelius, who informed her that her father died a year ago. Her cousin later corrects himself, saying that he mixed up his uncles and it was another one who died but that her father is seriously ill and currently residing in Kentucky. Sheree breaks down after realizing that she may not have much time left with her dad.
