“Bridging The Gap” (Feat. Olu Dara)
Without a doubt hip-hop has had its share of “F— My Daddy” anthems, and though Nas can’t claim to have the first father-son record, as plenty of rappers have put their toddler sons on the mic, he can lay claim to having the most mature and polished one. Bringing along his jazz musician father Olu Dara to help (further) bridge the gap between hip-hop and jazz (shout out to Guru’s Jazzmatazz series), the old and new, and father and son, this collaboration has thus far proven to be one of a kind.
