Ron reunites the family
In talking about his sister Shaun’s progress in her recovery from a heroin addiction, Ron and Lavette decide they should put together a sobriety party. It is also Ron’s hope that doing the party will help to re-establish Shaun’s relationship with her daughter, Erica, who is now a mother to three boys. To prepare for the party, Ron takes the boys shopping for tailored suits. He feels Erica out about her mom and she relays that while she is hopeful, she is still reserved about it all. At the party, the family all express how proud of Shaun they are. Ron then takes Shaun and Erica to the back to talk privately. Some raw feelings and emotion come to light as Erica is still not ready to let her guard down. Ron mediates the situation and helps Shaun and Erica come to a place of understanding.
