Ever since news broke that Porsha Williams was demoted on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and replaced by new cast member Claudia Jordan, fans have been speculating as to why Williams had to give up her peach to a newcomer. And though Williams, who was just as shocked as fans, had no explanation for her demotion, executive producer Andy Cohen recently explained why he decided to pull Williams’ peach.
After Bravo failed to penalize Williams following her assault on her “RHOA” nemesis, Kenya Moore, at last season’s reunion show, many fans have assumed that Williams was demoted as a late response to her violent attack.
However, when an inquisitive and angry fan questioned Cohen on Twitter about his decision to demote Williams, he explained that it had nothing to do with the reunion show and everything to do with the current season of the reality series.
