Schoolboy crushes for their teacher are an old story, but it seems in America today it is being taken to an entirely different level. This time, another story of an inappropriate relationship with a student by a teacher has hit the news. A Texas high school teacher and cheerleading coach has been arrested for having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy on the cheerleading squad. She was caught because she sent her schoolboy lover a nude picture of herself. Of course, being a young boy with raging hormones, he decided to brag about his relationship with the sexy cheerleading coach.
The teacher has been identified as Ashley Zehnder, 24, of Pasadena High School near Houston Texas. Zehnder was arrested earlier this week by police and charged with having an improper relationship with the student according to Harris County prosecutors. According to District Attorney Nick Socias, “She admitted to sending the nude photo to the student, knowing in fact that he was a student, and that they had sex.”
The school district began an investigation in early October after Zehnder complained about the circulation of the naked picture by students around the high school. But, as the investigation continued, it was determined that Zehnder sent the picture to the student with whom she was having the relationship. The student was questioned and he admitted that he had been having sex with the teacher since May of this year. The unidentified minor then gave detailed descriptions to the police of the teacher’s apartment complex and even her bedroom. In addition, the student stated that his sexual contact included “placing his penis in her vagina, placing his penis in her mouth and placing his mouth on her breasts.” The student stated that the relationship began when he borrowed the teacher’s cellphone to locate his lost cellphone and he kept the number. The student and the teacher began texting one another which led to Zehnder sending the student a naked photo of herself from the smartphone application SnapChat. According to the student, he began circulating the picture among his friends which led to Zehnder becoming angry at the student.
Zehnder initially stated that she was not having a sexual relationship with the student, but then investigators showed her the text messages on the boy’s phone and she confessed to her crime. Zehnder resigned from the school in mid October and was arrested by police. Her bail was set at $10,000 and now the sexy cheerleading coach is out of a job.
