George Lynch 1993 African studies Professional basketball player
Lynch is a retired basketball player who played in the NBA from 1993 to 2005. He holds the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill basketball record for most career steals. After leading the University of North Carolina to an NCAA title in 1993, he was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers with the 12th overall pick in that year’s NBA Draft.
