A YouTube video showing a young woman being slapped after taunting a middle-aged man has gone viral. The incident occurred on a New York subway train heading toward Washington Square station. In the video, the young woman delivers vicious verbal insults regarding the man’s out of date leather jacket from the 1990s.

As the encounter gets heated, the man finally reacts with a homophobic slur directed at the woman. She reacts by physically assaulting the man, who defends himself with a now famous slap. The slap sends the woman back at least 4 to 5 feet across the subway car and starts a huge fight. The NYPD is currently investigating the incident.
