He has an affinity for soul food and Sunday dinners:
“Where I’m from, I don’t necessarily have to go eat out. I can go to mom’s house or grandma’s house and that food is made with love. It’s a different kind of cooking going on. It also brings the family together and I think that’s where the soul part comes in. Normally, your grandmother can get all the family members together on Sundays no matter what everyone is going through. That was nutrition for our souls and our minds. You just kind of heal as a family.”
