A man in Chihuahua, Mexico, killed his best friend and cut off his penis because of perceived homosexual advances. According to reports by the NY Daily News, Mario Reyes was walking his dog with his best friend, Mario Hernandez. The two men began arguing after spending most of the day drinking alcohol.
At some point, Hernandez attempted to touch Reyes in a sexual way. Reyes said he felt violated by his friend. Hernandez went to urinate behind some bushes and Reyes followed him. Reyes then shot his friend in the head. After murdering him, Reyes took out a knife and sliced his friend’s penis off. He then fed his friend’s penis to his dog.
After the brutal crime, Reyes went home and went to sleep. When he woke up the next morning, he told his father about the crime and his father beat him. Reyes felt guilty about the crime and decided to turn himself in to authorities.
Reyes currently faces life in prison.
