What’s the old adage? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Well, as a Black man lucky enough to attend Creme of Nature’s One Hair Color Crush Chicago Meetup, beauty was all through the place, and it was, indeed, a wonderful sight to behold.
Women of all shapes, sizes, hair textures and hues filled a venue exquisitely laid out as showcase to view and discuss new hair techniques and hair care trends, all anchored by Creme of Nature’s Exotic Shine color formula. Far from anything similar to your traditional hair show, the event was more of sophisticated night out for the fashion forward, where attendees were treated to the wisdom of some of the country’s top beauty vloggers, along with good music, fine spirits, and tasty hors d’oeuvres.
A few of Creme of Nature’s top executives were joined by brand ambassador Africa Miranda as they celebrated their product in the form of a big reveal of new hair colors and styles worn by beauty vloggers Rachel O., Ms. Vaughn, CharyJay, Natural Neiicey, and pRoy. The reveal included a panel discussion that explored the ladies’ personal likes and dislikes around hairstyles, coloring, and other suggestions for the women in attendance. The panel was followed with music, networking opps and a ton of picture taking for attendees that were so inclined.
