Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has filed a defamation suit against his ex-wife, Pilar Sanders.

According to the lawsuit filed by Sanders on Nov. 24 in Collin County, Texas, Pilar is being accused of publishing false statements on social media that claim he is guilty of several crimes, including child abuse, spousal abuse, assault and attempted murder. The suit also references defamatory statements she made on TV in a recent appearance on “The O’Reilly Factor” regarding domestic abuse in the NFL.

“The men are narcissistic and they’re used to people cheering for them any time they walk into a room. They expect that at home, and when they don’t get it, what they’re used to on the field comes home with them. The men are very irritable, they’re very up and down, and the women often are not even aware that they’re in an abusive situation, as I was,” she said.

The former “Football Wives” star put Sanders on blast via Twitter, just weeks prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, after he called the authorities on her when she arrived at his home to pick up their children for her allotted visitation.

She tweeted …

In 2012, Deion also tweeted a feud with Pilar in live time, which resulted in both parties being charged with misdemeanor assault. Although we’re not sure what will become of Sanders suit as both parties have been heavily involved in a nasty smear campaign against each other; one thing is for sure, they aren’t lacking in the evidence department.
