Yours and Mine is a retrospective short film celebrating the one-year anniversary of the self-titled visual album, BEYONCÉ, which is arguably one of these best album launches in music history, considering there was no traditional marketing.

During this introspection, Beyoncé is transparent about fame and the yearning to have a “normal” life. She praises her mother for values she’s instilled in her as well as talks positively about marriage.

“People feel like they lose something when they get married, but it doesn’t have to be that way. There’s nothing more exciting about having a witness to your life… It’s OK to depend on someone. It’s actually what we’re supposed to do. And when you find the person you trust and you love and you feel is going to respect you and take all the s**t you have and turn it around and bring out the best in you… It feeds you.”
