Celebrity Black Greeks you will never see on ‘Sorority Sisters’

The controversial VH1 reality series “Sorority Sisters” has brought the hidden world of Black Greek life to the small screen. However the show’s portrayal of petty back biting Black women has been negatively received by many. Already there has been a call for a national boycott of sponsors who advertise on the show. The national organizations of Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Zeta Phi Beta have all expressed their collective disapproval of the image of the 100 year old sororities.

Despite the negative portrayal of Black Greek sisterhood on VH1 Black sorority life has attracted many now famous members. Here are a few famous Black sorority members you would never see on “Sorority Sisters:”
