Some notable members of Los Angeles’ hip-hop community were among the protesters taking part in the most recent Millions March movement on Saturday, Dec. 27.

Rappers Tyga and The Game, along with producer DJ Mustard all came out to lend their voice to the protest held in the Fairfax area of L.A. The Los Angeles Times reported that the crowd reached upward of several thousand participants.

The demonstration proved to be a peaceful affair as no arrests were made.

The Game, who came under fire for controversial tweets concerning the recently slain NYPD police officers, was among the leaders of the protest as he and Tyga wore shirts that read “Are ((WE)) Next?” while others wore “I Can’t Breathe” shirts.

The protest, which was heavily promoted across social media by celebrities like Snoop Dogg, used the hashtag #MillionsMarchLA

Earlier in the month, the Millions March NYC protest drew an estimated 75,000 participants and included celebrities such as Nas, Q-Tip, and Russell Simmons.
