Porsha Williams opens up about her arrest

Bravo

This week, Porsha Williams found herself in trouble with the law, once again, when she was arrested in Georgia for speeding down an Atlanta highway and for allegedly driving with a suspended license. Now, Williams is opening up about the arrest and sharing her side of what happened.

According to TheYBF.com, Williams recently released a statement about the arrest and revealed that the reason she was speeding was because she was on her way to see her sick grandfather.

“I was headed to visit my grandfather who is very ill with cancer in the hospital, and I was pulled over. I was wrong for speeding absolutely and apologize for putting anyone at risk,” Williams said. “I tried to explain the situation to the officer and show him that all my paperwork was in order, but he refused. Handcuffs are not comfortable or a good look for anyone. I was released, I have my license, my car, and my freedom.”

Well, we’re sure Williams has learned a pretty valuable and costly lesson about speeding. Hopefully, she doesn’t forget, and she can stay out of trouble with the law for at least the rest of the year.
