Transformers: Age of Extinction, Adam Sandler’s Blended, and Kirk Cameron are the front-runners for this year’s Razzie Awards.
The 35th annual Razzies, set to air on Feb. 21, just a day before the Oscars, will recognize some of Hollywood’s worst achievements in film. And it’s going to be a tight race. Transformers: Age of Extinction starring Mark Wahlberg leads with seven nominations, while its competition in the “Worst Picture” category, includes Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, Left Behind, The Legend of Hercules and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Close on its heels with six nods are Saving Christmas and The Legend of Hercules, which will battle it out with Charlize Theron and Seth MacFarlane’s Western comedy, A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Oddly enough, Annie, which received two Golden Globe nominations this year, for “Best Original Song” and “Best Supporting Actress” is up for this year’s “Worst Re-make, Rip-Off or Sequel.”
