NBC has ordered two more comedy pilots for its 2015-2016 slate, including Will Packer’s “People Are Talking.”
On Tuesday, the network confirmed pilots for “People Are Talking” and “Take It From Us” have been green-lighted.
From executive producers DJ Nash and Will Packer “People Are Talking,” will add diversity to NBC’s programming. The series, which is described as a comedy examining sex, race and “everything else your parents told you to never talk about,” will be penned by Nash, who previously produced “Growing Up Fisher,” “Guys With Kids,” “Bent” and “Up All Night” for NBC.
The announcement of Packer’s latest project comes on the heels of another new show he’s producing, a dramedy about two female homicide detectives, whose lives are far messier than the crime scenes they investigate.
There has been no word on the release date of “People Are Talking” or who will be starring in the new series, but we’ll keep you posted.
