Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue veteran Ariel Meredith attended the mag’s 2015 celebration at Marquee in New York City showing off her baby bump and her fiancé Tuesday night.
The 28-year old model, who has appeared in the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, said that she prepares by “working out, a lot of yoga, a lot of mental preparing.” Meredith, who is pregnant with her first child, revealed that she is having a little boy, but didn’t reveal the name chosen by her and her significant other.
Her fiancé, National Football League wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, is no stranger to the New York area, as he played five seasons with the New York Giants, winning a Super Bowl ring with the team during the 2011 season. Nicks, who played for the Indianapolis Colts last season and is currently a free agent, said “it’s been a great experience. I’m just here to support my beautiful fiancé,” as he accompanied her on the red carpet.
Nicks and Meredith, who also appears on the MTV series “Guy Code,” make a very attractive couple, and Nicks was the only gentleman to accompany his lady down the red carpet, as it was a solo show for all of the other women in the 2015 SI Swimsuit Issue. We look forward to learning the name of their bundle of joy in the near future.
