A Black high school security guard in Brooklyn, New York was caught on camera beating a man. According to reports by CBS New York, the beating occurred at Yeshivot Shaare Torah, an all-male Jewish school.
An unidentified White man walked into the school and began yelling the N-word at the security guard. Cellphone video captured the security guard punching the man repeatedly as he continued to yell the N-word. The security guard then threw the man over a railing.
Once the video went viral, some on social media claimed that the security guard used excessive force. However, the headmaster at the school has stood behind the security guard’s actions and said the man was trespassing at the school.
The police and the unidentified man have yet to file charges against the security guard.
