The city of Charlotte, North Carolina, rolled out the red carpet for Brotherly Love cast members who attended a star-studded movie screening during CIAA 2015.
Home Depot’s Retool Your School initiative, which awards nine HBCUs with grants totaling $255,000, sponsored the advance screening of Brotherly Love at Studio Movie Grill. CoCoa Fab hosted the event along with cast members Keke Palmer, Quincy Brown and executive producer Jacob York. Following the screening, guests participated in Q-and-A session with Palmer, Brown and Cocoa Fab’s Rita K. Davis, who moderated the discussion. Attendees were the first to view the film before its theatrical release.
Flavor Unit Entertainment, a production company owned and operated by Queen Latifah and her partner Shakim Compere, have teamed up with Jacavi Films and Electric Republic to produce Brotherly Love, which will be in theaters on April 24, 2015.
