NeNe Leakes has come under fire this season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” from fans and cast mates alike over her ever-changing and sometimes outrageous blonde wigs. And after debuting a wild mane of curly blonde locks last night and getting blasted on social media, Leakes decided to make light of the matter and make fun of her own hair.
The latest hair drama all begin last night when Leakes showed up in a scene with her new BFF, Phaedra Parks, wearing a massively high bun of blonde curls that many fans compared to the Bride of Frankenstein.
Suffice it to say, Leakes got wind of all of the Twitter and Instagram shade and decided to mock her own hair with a group of photos on her website.
She then captioned the post with the message, “This is the prime example of being true to yourself no matter the risk or what people think or say #letthegamesbegin #Rhoa #confident.”
While we laud the sassy Leakes’ confidence, we do hope she gets a better hair team next season.
