Claudia Jordan gets ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ peach?

Bravo

Claudia Jordan’s rise as a “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star has been meteoric as she’s gone from initially being hired as just a “friend” on the show to becoming a full-fledged “housewife” to becoming one of the most talked about cast mates in years. But even though she’s become an integral part of the show, reports have revealed that she only recently signed a contract to be a part of the cast.

According to reports, when Porsha Williams was demoted to being a ‘friend” on the show, she and Jordan, along with fellow newcomer Demetria McKnney, all competed for the open slot as a full cast member. And as filming began for this season, it became obvious that Jordan had the more dramatic and in interesting storyline, so she was awarded the peach.

However, negotiations between Jordan and Bravo began after filming for the show started. But after months of negotiations, Jordan recently revealed that she’s finally signed a contract with Bravo to be a full-fledged cast member.

Jordan spoke with Lovebscott.com about the new contract and explained that she’s happy with how the negotiations turned out.

“Because I already have a great job — I could afford to be patient and waited until the contract was exactly what I wanted and it paid off. I’m very happy with my deal!” she said.

Clearly Jordan’s contract is coming with a big payday, and with NeNe Leakes claiming that she’s unsure if she’s going to come back next year, Bravo is going to need a powerhouse “housewife” like Jordan to be locked in for the next year.
