Nicki Minaj’s mother, Carol Maraj, sets the record straight on whether or not Meek Mill popped the question to her famous daughter.
As you may already know, the YMCMB rapper has recently been dropping hints that she’s engaged to Meek Mill, 27, via social media. On April 19, Minaj posted a snap of a large, yellow, heart-shaped diamond ring on her ring finger via Instagram, sparking rumors that she’s headed down the aisle. However, according to Maraj, that is not the case.
“I talk to my daughter every day, and she said she was not engaged,” Maraj told BOSSIP Thursday night at the “Dress For Success Worldwide” gala in Manhattan.
As previously reported, Minaj and Mill have been spending quite a bit of time together, getting cozy at the club, wining and dining, but it wasn’t until Minaj confirmed their compatibility that we knew these two were more than just friends. “I mean you know, we’re just super compatible. And you know we just be having fun together. You know how that go!” Minaj shared during an interview with Charlie Sloth’s BBC Radio “1Xtra” show.
