On Monday, the princess’s name was finally revealed to the world as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Charlotte is the feminine version of Duke of Cambridge, William’s father Charles. Elizabeth is a nod to her great grandmother, the sitting Queen. And, Diana honors the memory of Prince William’s late mother, the Princess of Wales.
On the birth certificate, Kate Middleton’s occupation is listed as “Princess of the United Kingdom,” a title she rarely uses. She takes preference to Duchess of Cambridge, which was conferred on her by the Queen on her wedding day.
Prince George’s baby sister weighed 8lbs 3oz and was born at St Mary’s Hospital on May 2, 2015. Check out the official birth certificate below.
