Cynthia and NeNe explain their broken friendship
When Andy asks NeNe and Cynthia to explain exactly why their friendship fell apart, NeNe talks about calling Peter a “b—h” and she explains that she cried to Cynthia on the phone afterward and that everything with them was cool from then on. However, NeNe believes that when the season aired and fans saw the incident, Peter convinced Cynthia to start a beef with NeNe to up her popularity. NeNe also claims that at last year’s reunion, Cynthia requested not to sit next her and that she blindsided her by saying she was a bad friend. However, Cynthia responds that she wasn’t even aware that the cast could request where they sit (a claim which Andy backs up) and she explains that Peter never plotted against NeNe. Cynthia says that she and NeNe did make peace initially, but when they went on a trip and the episode aired, NeNe shaded her on a blog, which was the cause for Cynthia to begin letting their friendship go. Cynthia claims that NeNe then tried to get her kicked off the show, which she says was a major betrayal. But NeNe denies betraying her and claims Cynthia is lying about her entire story.
