Kathy and Rick Hilton are pleading with a federal judge to change the sentencing date for their son Conrad’s criminal case, as they will be attending their daughter Nicky’s wedding on the very same day in Italy.

Last year, Hilton was arrested after he allegedly threw an epic tantrum during an international flight from London to Los Angeles, screaming and threatening the flight attendants and passengers while shouting, ‘If you wanna square up to me bro, then bring it and I will f—— fight you.” — “I will f—— own anyone on this flight; they are f—— peasants.” he continued.

Hilton was charged with a felony for threatening the flight attendants and interfering with the crew. A charge which carried a maximum jail time of 20 years. Hilton posted $100,000 bond and was released from the Federal custody. Shortly after, he checked into rehab where he completed 30 days at a substance abuse center.

The troubled brother of Paris Hilton did reach a plea deal with the prosecution where the felony charge would be dropped to a misdemeanor assault charge, but the misdemeanor charge still carried jail time up to six months.. However, it wasn’t long before Hilton violated his plea agreement when he failed a drug test.

Conrad, who is currently under house arrest after admitting to smoking marijuana – a violation of the terms of his $100,000 bond is set to appear in court on July 10. According to the Daily Mail, Hilton’s lawyer, Robert Shapiro of OJ Simpson trial fame, has informed the court that Hilton’s parents will be overseas to the host  their youngest daughter’s wedding date and  are looking for the court to accommodate their wish to be with their son when he is sentenced. Of course they are!

While we don’t see the judge honoring their request seeing as their son has already shown he could care less about following the terms of his agreement with the prosecution, stranger things have happened. How do you think the judge should respond? Sound off in the comment section below.
