Unlike most celebrity exes, Safaree Samuels stuck to the high road after his breakup with Nicki Minaj. He remained polite in public while she bashed him in interviews and on her social media page. Well, now it appears Samuels was saving all his anger for his music because he’s set to release a new song in which he blasts Minaj over their breakup.
According to TMZ, Samuels’ new diss record, “Love The Most,” will be released later this week. However, they’ve already posted a clip of the song, in which he raps about his anger over the breakup and that Minaj never had his child.
“I ain’t saying I’m the best, no one will love you like I did/ 12 years up in flames, thought you would’ve had my kid/ Year three, got engaged, now we moving out of rage/ I ain’t never think our book would’ve ended on this page,” Samuels raps.
As the verse continues, Samuels’ lyrics get even more personal as he explains his insecurity over Minaj kissing Nas, her alleged wandering eye for Meek Mill during their relationship, and alleged pill popping on Minaj’s part: “Had to watch you kiss Nas and pretend it’s all cool/ Inside I was feeling like a mothaf—ing fool / Life revolved around the beat, show me a man that won’t / Said I was overreacting, but you did like … / Yeah, I know I’m not perfect, you was paying all the bills / You remember what you told me when you wasn’t on them pills?”
Wow. Clearly, Samuels had a lot he needed to get off his chest and we’re sure we’re going to hear even more dirty little secrets about their relationship once the full song drops. Expect this previously messy breakup to get messy all over again.
