Ben Chavis, a community leader who fights for economic empowerment; Paul Rusesabagina (hotel manager whose story is chronicled in Hotel Rwanda movie) who used his business influence to help his community; Eugene Mitchell, corporate VP at New York Life (Created the $50 billion Empowerment Plan for the exact same reasons I conceived of The Empowerment Experiment. Wiling to take a public stand, wanted to inspire more middle- and upper-class African Americans to do something that would create collective advancement, not just individual ascendanc.y)
