Arian Simone pens memoir: ‘Homeless to Hollywood’

Arian Simone Book Cover

After almost a year of being homeless, Arian Simone was sought out to do PR and marketing independently. Building a successful firm from the ground up, she established great relationships in the entertainment industry. She is credited with doing publicity and promotions work on films such as Limitless, Act of Valor, Takers, Quantum of Solace, Hancock, This Christmas, Stomp The Yard, and many more. She is responsible for the event planning of Lil Wayne’s 25th Birthday Bash, Pro Bowl wide receiver Braylon Edwards’ Quarter of the Century Celebration, Chris Brown’s MTV Super 18, and countless others.

In this book, Simone transparently shares her Fabulous & Fearless Journey, as an inspiration for all to continue to pursue their destiny despite obstacles. From living in her car to owning her own company, Simone hopes that her story will inspire others to live fearlessly, never giving up on their future. Please see the book cover, bio and book synopsis below. I look forward to hearing from you.

Read what she has to say.

What inspired you to write your first book?
People always wanted more when they heard my story, everyone kept saying you should write a book, you should write a book, so that is exactly what I did!

Do you have a specific writing style?
I do have a specific writing style but I am not sure if it was intentional, I am very big on giving people life principles and I usually use a story to drive home that point.

What books have most impacted your life (or life as an author)?
There are many books that have impacted my life, I read books all the time, but if I were to select a few recent favorites, I would say 1) Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker, 2) Produced by Faith by DeVon Franklin, 3) The Glitter Plan by Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor

What books are you currently reading? Why this author?
Currently I have been reading The Teachings of Napoleon Hill by Napoleon Hill, I chose this because I am a student of success, I love studying what makes people operate at their highest and best expression of themselves.

What new authors have piqued your interest?
Lara Casey is a new author that seems to have piqued my interest, she has such an inspirational message as well, I’m sure I will be reading more of her work.

If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything about your latest work?
I wouldn’t change anything about my latest work if I had to do it all over again, only because it is truly authentic, but I am open to doing an extended version in the future. There are so many more stories that I recall now that I have written it that would be good for readers.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging about writing or coming up with a concept for your book?
The part that I found challenging about writing was just getting it done, I wrote majority of my book in 2008-2009 and then went back from time to time to update, but finally just sitting down and saying, now Arian, you have to finish this.
