Nick Gordon’s visit to a Starbuck’s for a large whip cream-topped Frappuccino ended with his being served with a lawsuit this past Sunday. Gordon was approached by a woman who handed him a large manila envelope that formally accused him of beating Bobbi Kristina Brown and stealing from her while she lay in a hospital bed.
Filed in Fulton County, Ga. on June 24, the $10 million civil complaint claimed Gordon caused “substantial” harm to Whitney Houston’s 22-year-old daughter, including an incident when he punched her in the face “knocking out a front tooth and [dragged] her upstairs by her hair.” The lawsuit further alleges that on the day that Bobbi Kristina was found face down in a bathtub filled with water, there was an argument according to the complaint: “The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.”
In addition, the complaint alleges Gordon accessed Bobbi Kristina’s bank account and stole more than $11,000. The lawsuit was filed by Bedelia Hargrove, the court appointed conservator for Bobbi Kristina. Gordon is currently under criminal investigation in the accident that has left Bobbi Kristina in a vegetative state.
