5 pressing questions that remain in the Sandra Bland case

Who tampered with her cell after her alleged suicide?

Some inconsistences have been pointed out regarding the jail cell in which Bland was found dead.

In a video aired by a Houston’s Channel 2 News a large trash can is visible in the cell but there is a trash bag in it. If Bland supposedly hung herself with a trash bag, then that means they replaced it. But why would they do that? Surely they hadn’t finished the investigation of her death. Are they already using her cell to jail others?

NBC News’ John Yang toured the cell at another point and claimed “things are really the same as it was the morning” Bland’s body was found. In the video found on NBC.com, her dinner was said to be “untouched” and a Bible was visible on the bed opened to Psalms. But in the video from Channel 2, the Bible on the bed is closed. Who decided to open the Bible? What Psalm did they open the Bible to? They opened it to Psalm 119 which reads “Though I constantly take my life in my hands, I will not forget your law. The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.”

A bit too convenient, no?
