Happy National Tequila Day!

Whether you have it neat or mixed into classic cocktail, tequila is always a favorite-it’s no wonder the U.S. represents tequila’s largest market. Luckily for us, National Tequila Day is coming up and this year it lands on Friday July 24th, therefore an even better reason to celebrate!

If you’re looking for something sweet and spicy, try Cantina Rooftop’s (605 West 48th Street) Serenata which includes St. Germain Elderflower, Pineapple Juice,, Spicy Agave and Cazadores Tequila Blanco.

Moving way downtown mixologist Jeremy Strawn of Mulberry Project (149 Mulberry Street) and Greenwich Project (47 W 8th street) will be creating a specialty cocktail for this special day at each establishment. At Mulberry Project you will find El Castillo Paloma with Herradura Tequila, Vanilla and Cinnamon Bark Syrup and fresh Lime and Grapefruit Juice. Head towards the West Village at Greenwich Project and you will find the tequila drink Saint Luke’s Place that includes Fidencio Mezcal, limejuice, and Watermelon chipotle syrup.
