Georgia’s tax-free weekend is quickly approaching. From July 31 through Aug. 1, clothing, footwear, school supplies and computer supplies and software will be sold for no more than the amount on the price tag. But there are still some guidelines that customers must abide by to escape a tax fee.
Clothing and footwear must be $100 or less per item to qualify for tax exemption. Accessories such as jewelry, handbags, watches, and umbrellas are not included in this category.
School supplies must be $20 or less per item to be tax-free. Computers, computer software, and other computer components must be $1,000 or less to qualify.

Target
