It was just last month that Chris Brown’s personal life got turned upside down, once again, when his San Fernando Valley,California, home was robbed by four intruders whom many suspect to be his friends. At the time, reports were flying that Nia Guzman, the mother of Brown’s daughter, Royalty, was complaining that Brown’s robbery was proof that Brown isn’t providing a safe environment for Royalty. And now it appears that Guzman has decided to take legal action against Brown over Royalty’s safety.

According to TMZ, Guzman reportedly doesn’t feel that Brown is a fit enough parent to watch over Royalty by himself and she recently filed legal documents asking that Brown only be allowed to see Royalty under supervised visitations.

Guzman also reportedly wants full custody of Royalty, claiming that Brown is overall that Brown is too irresponsible to care for Royalty. She also believes that Brown and his friends all have substance abuse problems, something which Brown has publicly dealt with in the past with rehab stints.

Although it seems like the odds are stacked against Brown, he also decided in July to fight back when he filed documents in Houston to establish paternity of Royalty, that way he can fight for child support and custody of Royalty in court.

As previously reported, Brown has been paying Guzman $2,500 a month to take care of Royalty, which he believes is more than fair for their child. However, Guzman has complained that Brown is cheating their daughter out of money and has demanded that he pay her $15,000 a month instead.

Sources say that Brown wants a judge to set the child support because he believes that amount will be closer to $2,500. And now it appears that he’ll also be asking a judge to allow him custody rights to Royalty as well in response to Guzman’s claims about his parenting skills.

Well, this is clearly turning into a messy custody battle and we just hope that the judge makes the right decision for Royalty.
